Our Employee Portal has three types of users:
1. HR Managers
2. Heads of Department
3. Employees
The login details of each role are provided at the top of the page.
This employee portal is made for small- and medium-sized businesses to manage their employees more effectively.
It enables smoother and more professional management of a company's human resources, provides employees with a self-service interface and allows for centralized data collection in a secure portal.
To view all employees and their details,
1. Click Employees from the main menu.
2. Select any employee from the list to view their details, such as contact information, salary, allowances, deductions, leave requests or payslips.
To add a new employee to the portal,
1. Click Employees from the main menu.
2. Next, click the yellow Plus button.
3. Fill in the necessary details.
4. Save by clicking the Tick button that appears near the top right corner.
To manage payroll,
1. Log in with the HR Manager account using the details provided above.
2. Click Payroll from the main menu.
3. You can now select individual payroll records, generate the payroll by clicking the Generate Payroll button, confirm the payroll by clicking the Confirm Payroll button, or print out payslips as PDF documents for each employee and month.
The application is designed so that HR managers can automatically generate the payroll for all employees. Pay is calculated as salary + allowance - deductions for all staff. HR managers can validate these calculations before confirming the payroll. Once payroll is confirmed by HR, employees can view the payroll inside their profile. Each employee can only access their payroll details, whereas HR can view all payroll details.
To view and manage leave requests, click Pending Approvals from the main menu.
Here you can view, select and manage leave requests pending approval. Note that Heads of Department, a separate user role from the HR manager, typically approve leave requests. To log in as Head of Department, use the login details provided above.
To submit a leave request,
1. Log in in with the Employee user account.
2. Click My Profile from the main menu.
3. Click Leave Request.
4. To submit a new leave request, click the grey Plus button near the right corner of the screen.
To approve a leave request,
1. Log in with the HOD account.
2. Click Pending Approvals to view and manage pending lease requests.
3. Click View Detail to view details about pending requests.
3. To approve, change the status to Approved.
